By Invitation Only

I’ll have to admit one of my favorite things about creating a fabulous tablescape is designing the paper products to coordinate with it. This one especially was fun because I have always been a lover of pink and green my whole life. Once the tabletop picks were selected by my friends Paige of the Pink Clutch Blog and Mary of Mrs. Southern Social, my brain immediately starting ticking and I was ready to create!

To me the invitation is always so important because it sets the tone of the party. If you have a great invitation, people will want to come to the party because they will want to know what it is all about. I’m sure your parents have always told you, first impressions are everything, and that is no different when it comes to paper. Maybe it is just me or maybe it’s because I was raised in the South but the art of paper still lives around here! Snail mail all the way. (I’ll also admit, I am not a fan of e-vites) Sorry!

For this Palm Beach affair I created 7 different invitations you can find here. My favorite might be the sketch of the table setting I recreated and drew or the pink stripe cabana! They are all so cute so it makes it really hard to decide. I was inspired by Palm Beach’s architecture, colors, and the famous Worth Avenue, The Colony Hotel and that “Old Florida Style”! I really can’t believe it took me this long to get to Palm Beach because it’s a really special place. I think I nailed it with these designs!

If you have a fancy invite, you must get the coordinating items to go with it, right?! I created a whole bunch of matching items such as, envelope liners, notepads, return stickers, stationery and menu cards. Also some adorable gift tags that can be use to tie on gifts or used as place cards like we did. We tied the tags on cookies made by The Highland Park Pie Lady and used them for place markers. Kind of love this idea and the cookies were Lilly Pulitzer Shift Dresses!

I love the personalized menu cards we added to our table as well. Doing a personalized menu card just adds that extra touch!

This invitation suite is perfect for Summer Suppers, birthday parties, Bridesmaids luncheons or showers and more. I hope you are inspired for your next event and you can now shop this entire collection on www.sweetcarolinedesigns.com. Don’t forget the sky is the limit. If you can think it, I can create it! I can make matching koozies, napkins and cups too. Oh I just love paper! Please go check them out and let me know what you think! Happy Thursday, Friends!
